Wow! What a confused confabulation. The above tube box is labeled Continental Radio Tube. But who are they, really? There are so many companies called Continental that are not them that I don't know who they actually are. There's Continental Electric that became CETRON, but they're not them. Nor are they Continental Electronics, manufacturer of large high power transmitters for VOA and other major broadcasters. I don't think they're related to Continental Tubes of the 1950's & 1960's, a re-brander and wash house. My closest guess is Continental Radio (later Radio & TV), the parent company of Admiral. They made radios branded Continental in the 1930's before branding their products Admiral in 1940. Maybe this is their pre-Admiral tube box. At this point, I don't know. They may not have any relation to any of them.
